The Leopard Club Award pays tribute
each year to a great movie personality
whose career has left its mark
on the collective imagination.
The
first Leopard Club Award was given
to Faye Dunaway in 2013; in 2014
the award went to American actress
Mia Farrow, in 2015 to American
actor Andy Garcia and in 2016 to
Italian actress Stefania Sandrelli. In
2017, marking the 70th edition of
the Locarno Film Festival, the Club
paid tribute to American actor Adrian
Brody. The career of Meg Ryan was
recognized with the prestigious
award in 2018; in 2019 the award went to the prodigiously talented Hilary Swank, and in 2021 to the brave and eclectic Kasia Smutniak. The 2022 Award laureled Daisy Edgar-Jones, one of the most promising and talented actresses working today.
